Zailene Deliza Husaini

Zailene Deliza Husaini began her career as a locum therapist in various organizations before joining the pioneer group of therapist in Prince Court Medical Centre (PCMC). She was instrumental in the Allied Health Professionals Service Standards during the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) Accreditation process and documentation and has been an integral member of staff in the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.

Zailene has had attachments in various public hospitals and clinics throughout West Malaysia, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Sabah and in Brussels, Belgium and Vienna, Austria. A graduate from the University of Technology MARA (UiTM) with a Diploma in Physiotherapy followed by full-time Bachelors in Physiotherapy, her exposure in the local government setting is highly commendable.

With a keen interest in research, Zailene was involved in setting up of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), standards, documentations, gymnasium facilities, Job Descriptions of Allied Health Technicians, Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, Radial Shock-Wave Therapy (RSWT) Services, workflows and processes of Hydrotherapy as well as group classes, Gymnasium facilities for staff usage, involvement of Burns Unit, and creation of Patient Information Leaflets/Factsheets.

In the sporting arena, Zailene was also appointed as the physiotherapist in charge of the South Africa contingent in rugby during the Petronas KKP games 2009.

A member of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA) since 2002, Zailene is an advocate of Patient Safety, Quality & Risk Management (PSQR) in promoting excellence in the healthcare industry.

Marc Jonathan Daniel

Marc Jonathan Daniel, the former President of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association and Chief Physiotherapist and Head of Clinical Support Services, Prince Court Medical Centre has a wealth of experience garnered in Malaysia and in the United Kingdom. He currently practices in a private clinic established over 10 years.
Marc has served as a consultant physiotherapist at prestigious local, regional and global sports events that include Belgium World Cup Hockey (2002), Commonwealth Games (1998), European Cup Rugby (1997), and Penguins International Rugby, England from 2003 till the present day.

A much sought after physiotherapist both abroad and in Malaysia, Marc Daniel worked as Chief Physiotherapist for Newbridge Rugby Club, Welsh Premier League for two seasons and the Twin Towers Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur for four years.
A fully qualified Bachelor of Science with honours in Physiotherapy from The University of Bradford, England, he gained valuable experience working in United Kingdom in The National Health Service (NHS) for two years.

With an impressive track record as a practising physiotherapist, Marc also lectured part time at two of Malaysia’s higher learning institutes, University Technology of Mara on Sports Science and at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (Malaysia’s national university), he taught Diploma and Degree students in Physiotherapy, Health Studies & Sports Science.

Marc holds multiple professional memberships, including The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (UK); Health Professionals Council (UK); Association of Chartered Physiotherapist in Sports Medicine (UK); The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (UK); and Chartered Physiotherapist in Association Football (FA of England).

Low Yun Ting

Low Yun Ting is a Chartered Physiotherapist with twelve years of working experience, having dedicated five and a half years at Prince Court Medical Centre (PCMC) as a Senior Physiotherapist and playing a critical role as one of the pioneer group of therapists who established the rehabilitation unit. She currently holds the position of Director in Synapse Rehab Consulting Sdn. Bhd., taking the lead in Synapse Physiotherapy Clinic located in Menara HSC.With numerous clinical attachments in the UK and Europe (Austria, Germany, Belgium), she carries a wealth of experience particularly in musculoskeletal injuries, foot disorders, orthoses and extracorporeal shockwave therapy.

As a fully-qualified graduate in BSc with Honours in Physiotherapy from King’s College London, she gained valuable hands-on experience in the National Health Service (NHS) hospitals in the UK. After returning from UK, Ting joined Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre as a physiotherapist for two years, thus, covering and gaining more experience in various clinical settings.

In the sporting arena, she was the physiotherapist for the Penguins International Rugby, England for three years and highly involved with the medical team for the PCMC/Euro Futsal Tournament in 2008, Siemen’s Run Kuala Lumpur 2009, and a netball team at the Petronas Carnival Games in 2010. She and her team of physiotherapists were also engaged by the German Badminton Association to handle their national badminton players in 2015 Maybank Malaysia Open.

On a non-clinical aspect, Ting has been appointed as the expert user/trainer of the Total Hospital Information System (THIS) for the Allied Health team. She designed clinical workflows and built the complete system for the Allied Health services in PCMC.

Ting was the chapter leader for Patients and Family Rights (PFR) throughout PCMC, ensuring implementation of all measurable elements of PFR in hospital policies, SOPs, workflows and other documents to comply with the standards of JCI and MSQH accreditation.

Outside of clinic, Ting participates in numerous international marathons and being a keen golfer, she also spends her weekend at the golf course.

Shu Tze Shyuan

Shu TzeShyuan is a registered physiotherapist with The Malaysian Physiotherapy Association having graduated from The Malaysian Allied Health Science Academy in the year 2010. Currently, she is a private practitioner in MD Physiotherapy with a special interest in Musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, orthopaedic physiotherapy and myofascial release therapy (MFR).

Her keen interest in MFR began in 2007 having worked with a doctor in Seremban before embarking to further her studies in physiotherapy. Since then, she has been tied to the Borneo Eagles Rugby Team as the Chief Physiotherapist during the Cobra Rugby 10’s in 2011 and the Agung’s Cup in 2012 and 2013 for the Sabah Eagles. She was appointed as the tournament physiotherapist for the International Borneo 7’s rugby tournament, Cobra 10s, ARFU 15s, and YRIM youth rugby tournaments since 2012 till today.

She is currently the ONLY physiotherapist in Malaysia having been awarded and appointed as a certified World Rugby Medical Educator. She continues to pursue this career having to teach throughout the nations under the Asian Rugby Football Union ( ARFU ). Besides that, she has been selected as a local preceptor for colleges such as Pusrawi, Sime Darby Medical College and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.

She has numerous certificates in Manual Therapy Mulligan Concepts, Physiotherapy Instrument Mobilization, Integrated Spine Manual Therapy, First Aid in Rugby, Sports Massage, Kinesiotaping, trained bio advance orthotic, and is continuously developing herself professionally as a physiotherapist in Malaysia and abroad.

Nina Lim Siang Yin

Nina Lim is a Registered Physiotherapist with the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA).

She completed her dual honours degree programme from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge (United Kingdom) at MAHSA University, Kuala Lumpur.

She managed significant clinical experience in various hospitals during her student years. Along the way, her interest grew in neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She has previously practised as a certified physiotherapist in a chiropractic clinic.

She is qualified to practice dry needling, cupping therapy and kinesio-taping. Moreover, she has experience in conducting fitness exercise programmes for the elderly. Outside clinic hours, Nina enjoys spending her time playing musical instruments.

Liam Tiong Teck Foo

Liam Tiong Teck Foo is a registered physiotherapist who recently graduated from MAHSA University under the collaborative Bachelors of Physiotherapy programme with Northumbria University (UK). Liam has trained at several different clinical settings in different disciplines. These areas include Hospital Kuala Lumpur (Neurology), Putra Specialist Hospital Melaka (Musculoskeletal), The National Heart Institute (Cardiorespiratory), Axis Physiotherapy Center (Musculoskeletal) and Hospital Pulau Pinang (Neurology and Cardiorespiratory).

He has attended various courses having completed a course regarding lower limb lymphedema, postural control in stroke and in 2016 he completed a course in cervical spine dysfunctions, spinal cord injuries and lumbopelvic pain and dysfunction. He has volunteered in the “Let’s Go and Play” carnival for children with cerebral palsy in 2013. He is also a certified SCORES back care programme practitioner. Moreover, he has attended a campaign and talk regarding Parkinson’s disease which started his interest in treating patients with neurological conditions. His interest in movement and functional rehabilitation has further piqued his interest in using alternative approaches in treating patients with neurological deficiencies.

Liam is working at MD Physiotherapy where, alongside his fellow colleagues, is pursuing his continuous professional development through courses and seminars. He also trains students who are posted at MD Physiotherapy for their clinical postings.

Nurul Atikah Nazanudin

Atikah is currently working at Synapse Physiotherapy with a special interest in musculoskeletal disorder and sports injury. She is an extremely dedicated physiotherapist in overcoming challenges and needs of the community. Currently, she assesses patients, plans and executes individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning while alleviating pain.

Danial Adam / Mohammad Danial Adam Bin Mohd Najibuddin

He has been through multiple clinical attachments such as Thomson Hospital, Hospital Sg Buloh, Hospital Rehabilitasi Cheras, Hospital Angkatan Tentera Terendak, MERCY Nursing Home Temiang & Rahang, and Klinik Kesihatan Senawang. Throughout his training, he was exposed to various neurological and musculoskeletal cases which yielded positive outcomes. During his training, he attained a certificate in Maitland’s Approach in Assessment and Management of Spinal Pain. Moreover, he has conducted various group exercise activities for the sporting population and diabetic patients. Besides that, he has managed home visits for children with Autism.

Since young, Adam has cultivated an interest in outdoor activities such as hiking, football, and badminton.

Maggie Lim Shu Hui

Maggie Lim graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy Sciences from Northumbria University, Newcastle; completing the full programme at MAHSA University, Kuala Lumpur. As a student, she had clinical attachments at various government and private set-ups, namely, Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar, Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Pantai Hospital Ampang, the National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM), and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang.

She gained physiotherapeutic experience with a charitable organization in Chennai, India. There, she assisted the physiotherapist with various neuro-musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain, neck disorders, and plantar fasciitis.

She completed a Basic Life Support programme in 2011. As a practising physiotherapist, she has attended various courses to further develop her skills within the profession. She acquired additional theoretical and practical knowledge by attending courses in the Management of Shoulder Musculoskeletal Pain Dysfunctions and the Janda Approach to Musculoskeletal Pain Syndromes. Furthermore, she is a certified practitioner of the SCORES (Spinal Core Stability) programme.

She is currently registered with the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA). Her field of interest in physiotherapy include management of shoulder dysfunctions and neurological rehabilitation.

Raguraman Muniandy

Raguraman Muniandy is a recent physiotherapy graduate from Windfield International College, Malaysia with a great personality and excellent communication skills. He performed outstandingly throughout his course and was the 1st runner up winner of the college wide annual Anatomy Quiz in 2012. In addition to that, he worked diligently towards getting qualified as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and a Registered Exercise Therapist (RET) during his training. Ragu completed his clinical placements at the Physically Disabled and Mentally Retarded Children’s Centre Selangor, Pain Paralysis Physiotherapy and Arena Fitness, Ipoh and Synapse Physiotherapy Ampang Clinic. Throughout his placements, Ragu had the opportunity to treat a wide range of physiotherapy cases including pre and post-operative rehabilitation cases, neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson’s Disease and various musculoskeletal injuries.

During his training Ragu also volunteered as a physiotherapy assitant at a number of sporting events such as the Ipoh Starwalk (2012), Standard Chartered Marathon (2012), and the Redbull Marathon (2013). Outside of the clinic, Ragu loves to play futsal and a game of chess in his free time.

Ng Xin Yi

Ng graduated with a Bachelor (Hons) in Physiotherapy at INTI International University, Nilai. As a student, she had attachments at various government and private settings for musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, paediatrics, neurology, sports and geriatric rehabilitation. The clinical attachments include Hospital Rehabilitasi Cheras, Ampang Hospital, Thompson Hospital, Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku Mizan, Hospital Angkatan Tentera Kem Terendak, Klinik Kesihatan S2, Klinik Kesihatan Senawang, and Mercy Nursing Home. She has conducted fitness classes for obese patients at KK Senawang and volunteered herself in a number of physiotherapy clinical charity events in Yong Peng and Seremban.

She has attended seminar and courses such as GEMT Dry Needling Level 1 and the Maitland Workshop on Assessment and Management of Patient with Spinal Pain. Derrick Kung Jun Kit

Derrick graduated from Manipal University in India, having completed an honours degree in Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. He was awarded overall best student (2014-2016) for two consecutive years in terms of his studies and sports. As part of his training, he underwent six months of internship at the Kasturba Hospital of Manipal. This widened his experience in the physiotherapy field of orthopaedics (musculoskeletal cases), general medicine, neurology, women’s health, paediatrics, sports injuries, exercise prescriptions, diabetic clinic, biomechanical assessment, and community rehabilitation.

He furthered his learning by attending various workshops such as Fascial dysfunctions in Sport and Understand the Human Fascia (Steco and Tom Meyes Model Technique), Parkinsonism and Stroke Workshop (LSVT Think Big), Sport Training and Core Activation from National India Sport Association and etc. He holds an American Heart Association membership for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Derrick loves reading latest journals as part of continuous learning. When it comes to treating patients, he chooses the best evidence-based approach. The majority of his cases include neck, back, knee, elbow, and hip cases. He is also a Certified Schroth Practitioner (Scoliosis Specific Exercise), having taken up the course throughout 2018 to 2019.

In 2018, he was appointed team physiotherapist for the Red Baron basketball team, who competed in an international tournament in Xiamen, China. He has been practicing physiotherapy for 3 years.

Baanu D/O Vickneswaran is a recent graduate Physiotherapist from Windfield International College, Malaysia. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Registered Exercise Therapist (RET), which has provided her a broader skill set as a physiotherapist.

As part of her training, she undertook two clinical placements at Synapse Physiotherapy in which she excelled and showed great professionalism as a student physiotherapist. At Synapse, she managed to gain her clinical training in an outpatient setting, treating an array of musculoskeletal disorders including many neck and back conditions. At the Physically Disabled and Mentally Retarded Children’s Home in Ipoh, she gained valuable experience in treating neurological conditions in a paediatric setting. In college, she was actively involved in the 1st National Physiotherapy Symposium held at Windfield International College in 2011.

Outside the clinic, Baanu enjoys playing badminton, cycling and aerobics. She also appreciates a good read when she is not engaged in active sports.

Aainaa has had clinical attachments in various public hospitals such as Sungai Petani General Hospital, Teluk Intan Hospital, Muar Hospital and Pinang General Hospital. In order to further polish her skills, she became a volunteer in Zara Aisyah Care Center (ZACC) during her free time.

She was a Universiti Teknologi MARA, UiTM clinical instructor at Hospital Sultanah Fatimah Muar and has treated various conditions such as musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurology patients while assisting and teaching students at the same time.

Other than that, Aainaa participated in community work such as physical health screening, conducting aerobics for the elderly at old folks homes and hospitals. She has given talks about back pain to patient at hospitals.

He has a certificate in Sport Massage Level 1 and Kinesiology Taping.

He has experience as a sports’ physiotherapist for several sport events during his student days. He is very passionate in using manual therapy to treat various musculoskeletal problems.

Other than that, he is a part time photographer and videographer. He also loves playing badminton during his free time

Siti Ezzaty Hazidin
Registered Physiotherapist


Ezzaty is a registered physiotherapist with The Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA).

She graduated from University of Technology Mara (UiTM) Puncak Alam with a Diploma and BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.
She has had attachment in various public hospitals; Kedah, Selayang, Temerloh, Pulau Pinang and Johor Bahru Hospital. Her final year project has been published with the titled ‘Range of Motion, Muscle Length and Balance Performance in Older Adults.

She launched her career as physiotherapist in rehab clinic in Melawati then further working as a home-based physiotherapist.

Ezzaty has attended several courses; orthogeriatric rehabilitation professional development and training, sport massage (level 1) and cupping.

During her free time, she likes to join volunteer activity and sightseeing.
